Vincent Chi-ho CHUNG, PhD student in Public Health won the Best Oral Presentation Award at the 2008 Hong Kong - Macau Postgraduate Symposium on Chinese Medicine which is organised by CUHK School of Chinese Medicine, HKU School of Chinese Medicine, HKBU School of Chinese Medicine, CUHK Institution of Chinese Medicine, HKUST Department of Biology, HKUST Department of Biochemistry, PolyU Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology, CityU Department of Biology and Chemistry, Macau University of Science and Technology, and University of Macau. His award-winning presentation is “Clinical Evidence on Chinese Herbal Medicine: An Overview of Systematic Review”.

 
Won "Global Scholarship Programme for Research Excellence - CNOOC Grants for 2007-08"
Congratulations to Ms Jin MOU for winning Global Scholarship Programme for Research Excellence - CNOOC Grants for 2007- 08.

Ms Jin MOU, student of PhD in Public Health has won an award under the Global Scholarship Programme for Research Excellence - CNOOC Grants for 2007-08 which assist Jin to undertake a research at the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, UK for 3 months.

 
Won the Hong Kong College of Family Physicians 2008 Best Research Award
Dr Colman Siu-cheung FUNG, Clinical Officer and Professor Stewart Mercer, Adjust Professor, won the Hong Kong College of Family Physicians (HKCFP) 2008 Best Research Award for their paper “A Qualitative Study of Patients' Views on Quality of Primary Care Consultations in Hong Kong and Comparison with the UK CARE Measure” in June 2009. 20090611_conjoint_fellow_1_colman.jpg
Won the Best Oral Presentation Award at the 9th International Conference on Falls and Postural Stabi
Pui-yee YEUNG, a part-time student of MPhil in Social Medicine won the Best Oral Presentation Award at the 9th International Conference on Falls and Postural Stability held in York, United Kingdom, on 19 September 2008. Professor David Shu-cheong HUI was awarded the Woolcock Research Award at the 13th Congress of the Asian Pacific Society of Respirology on 21 November 2008.
