| Biography |
| Professor Chetwyn Chan is a full professor and head of Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is occupational therapist and psychologist by training. He obtained his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from University of Alberta in Canada in 1995. Professor Chan specializes in cognitive neuroscience and its application to occupational therapy and human-task interface, and occupational rehabilitation. He is the founder of the Applied Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory. He published widely in international journals in cognitive neuroscience, rehabilitation psychology and occupational rehabilitation. Professor Chan's clinical expertise is in prevention and intervention for the people with work-related problems, occupational health and ergonomics, and medico-legal consultation. He is the Editorial Board Member of Rehabilitation Psychology and WORK. He is the Vice-Chair of Hong Kong Association of Occupational Therapy and Council Member of Hong Kong Ergonomics Society. Professor Chan is a Member of Hong Kong Occupational Therapy Board and Advisor of Public Advisory Committees including the Rehabilitation Advisory Committee, Social Welfare Department, and Occupational Safety and Health Council of Hong Kong. |
