Biography 

Prof. Linwei Tian is an environmental epidemiologist. He has a medical background and a PhD degree in Environmental Health Sciences from the University of California at Berkeley. He did field epidemiology and laboratory work on indoor air pollution and lung cancer. He did research on polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and nanoquartz carcinogens in coal smoke.
