Biography 

Dr. Martin Wong graduated in the Faculty of Medicine, CUHK in 1999 and started his training in Family Medicine since he first joined the Hospital Authority. He obtained his fellowships of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and Hong Kong College of Family Physicians (HKCFP) by examination and holds three master degrees in the fields of public health, human resource management and business administration. He obtained his Doctorate of Medicine degree through his studies on pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacological effects of antihypertensive therapies in primary practice.

Dr. Wong has been granted the Dean’s List Award for outstanding academic achievements, University College Dublin, National University of Ireland; Bronze medal, Best Original Research by Trainees of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine; Best Innovation Research Award of the HKCFP; and Best oral presentation award of the Master of Public Health program. Regarding teaching in Family medicine, he is the awardee of the “annual teacher of the year award” for two consecutive years (2005/06, 06/07) since he first joined the Faculty as a teaching staff in 2005.
