| Biography |
Dr. Roger Chung obtained his Bachelor Degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and Master in Health Science from the Department of Environmental Health Sciences of Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the US, both in 2005. In 2008, he received the Presidential Award for Best Presentation from the Hong Kong College of Community Medicine, with his study on the projected long-term care expenditure in Hong Kong. He further received his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from the School of Public Health of the University of Hong Kong in 2011, focusing on the impact of socioeconomic development on population health. Dr. Roger Chung joined the School of Public Health and Primary Care as a Research Assistant Professor at the Division of Family Medicine and Primary Health Care. His research interests include society and health, aging, lifestyle and health, health policy and environmental health.
