Biography 
Dr Anisha Abraham is a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Paediatrics and in the The Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is also an Associate Professor of Paediatrics at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC.  Prior to joining CUHK, Dr Abraham was Chief of Adolescent Medicine at Georgetown University and Medical Director of a Woodson Wellness Center, a school-based adolescent health clinic. Dr Abraham’s research interests include adolescent health screening, obesity prevention and eating disorders. She completed a residency in Paediatrics at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, DC in 1996, and a fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at Children’s National Medical Center as well as a Masters in Public Health from George Washington School of Public Health in 1999. After completing fellowship, Dr Abraham served as Chief of Adolescent Medicine at Womack Hospital in Ft Bragg, North Carolina and at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. She was the Past-President of the Chesapeake Society of Adolescent Medicine and has published in journal including Paediatrics and the Journal of Adolescent Health. Dr Abraham is also the recipient of several Faculty and Resident Teaching awards and is very involved in teaching and mentoring undergraduate, medical and MPH students.
