Biography 

Dr. S. V. Lo is Head of Research Office at the Health, Welfare and Food Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, and also Chief Manager in charge of the portfolio on health service statistics, workforce planning and knowledge management at the Hong Kong Hospital Authority.  Trained as an internal physician, he specializes in Public Health Medicine and Administrative Medicine.  Currently, he also holds the following positions:-

  • Examiner, Part I & II Public Health Medicine Fellowship Examination, Faculty of Public Health, UK & Hong Kong College of Community Medicine;
  • Censor and Examiner, Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators;
  • Censor, Administrative Medicine Subspecialty Board, Hong Kong College of Community Medicine;
  • Honorary Clinical Associate Professor, School of Public Health and Primary Care, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and
  • Honorary Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Community Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong.
