  • Launching Ceremony of a Collaborative New Workstation for Earthquake Relief and Research Work in Nanba, Sichuan
    To facilitate earthquake relief work in Sichuan, the School of Public Health established partnerships with the Department of Anthropology of Sun Yat-sen University, Sichuan Institute of Nationality Studies, the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau of Pingwu County in Sichuan, and the Hong Kong Concordia Welfare and Education Foundation. This partership will help launch a new workstation at the town of Nanba in Pingwu county, Sichuan on December 22, 2008.

  • Project on Mental Health for Sichuen
    Professor Joseph Tak-fai LAU of the School of Public Health joined the Sichuan University's Mental Health Relief Centre and visited one of the badly affected earthquake areas in Sichuan at the end of July 2008.
