个人简介

叶汉基教授于2011年加入香港中文大学公共卫生与基层医疗学院,现为助理教授。2008年,他在瑞典卡罗林斯卡学院获得博士学位。他的论文是开发估计家谱数据中疾病倾向性和相关性的方差分量的随机效应模型的统计方法。叶教授与他的博士生导师Yudi Pawitan教授一起,在一个大规模的人口样本中研究了精神分裂症和双相情感疾病之间的共病性和倾向性。这项研究结束了精神病学中最持久的争论之一,即精神分裂症和躁郁症是完全不同还是与相同病因过程的临床实现(Lancet 2009)。他继续发展和完善这些方法,体现在最近国际顶级同行评审稿件中发表的文章(JAMA Psychiatry 2019 ,Biological Psychiatry 2018,2020)。

在卡罗林斯卡学院继续从事遗传流行病学研究的同时,叶教授还担任多项临床研究的首席统计学家,包括临床试验和队列研究,家庭健康账户指导委员会成员,服务学习委员会成员(崇基学院),以及世界大学多发病综合护理模式工作小组的主要成员。他正在教授卫生经济学的本科和研究生课程。目前,他正在指导4名博士生。在此之前,他曾指导/共同指导其他四名已毕业的博士生。
