Established by the Hong Kong Research Grants Council (RGC) in 2009, the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) aims to attract the best and brightest students in the world to pursue their PhD programmes in Hong Kong's universities. The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) now invites HKPFS application for admission in the 2023–24 academic year. Eligible HKPFS awardees will be offered a package totalling up to HK$1.69M (US$217,000).
