個人簡介

葉漢基教授於2011年加入香港中文大學公共衞生與基層醫療學院,現為助理教授。 2008年,他在瑞典卡羅林斯卡學院獲得博士學位。 他的論文是開發估計家譜數據中疾病傾向性和相關性的方差分量的隨機效應模型的統計方法。 葉教授與他的博士生導師Yudi Pawitan教授一起,在一個大規模的人口樣本中研究了精神分裂症和雙相情感疾病之間的共病性和傾向性。 這項研究結束了精神病學中最持久的爭論之一,即精神分裂症和躁鬱症是完全不同還是與相同病因過程的臨床實現(Lancet 2009)。 他繼續發展和完善這些方法,體現在最近國際頂級同行評審稿件中發表的文章(JAMA Psychiatry 2019 ,Biological Psychiatry 2018,2020)。

在卡羅林斯卡學院繼續從事遺傳流行病學研究的同時,葉教授還擔任多項臨床研究的首席統計學家,包括臨床試驗和佇列研究,家庭健康賬戶指導委員會成員,服務學習委員會成員(崇基學院),以及世界大學多發病綜合護理模式工作小組的主要成員。 他正在教授衞生經濟學的本科和研究生課程。 目前,他正在指導4名博士生。 在此之前,他曾指導/共同指導其他四名已畢業的博士生。
