[Event Highlights] Prof Andrew T. Chan’s sharing on “Aspirin and the Prevention of Cancer and Other Chronic Diseases”

Hosted by The Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), a seminar titled "Aspirin and the Prevention of Cancer and Other Chronic Diseases" was successfully conducted on 1 March 2024.

We were honoured to have welcomed Professor Andrew T. Chan, the Daniel K. Podolsky Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Professor of Immunology and Infectious Diseases at Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health. His insightful presentation delved into the potential use of Aspirin in reducing the risk of cardiovascular events and colorectal cancer, while also providing an outlook on prevention of cancer and other chronic diseases.

The seminar provided a valuable platform for researchers, academics, healthcare professionals, and industry practitioners to exchange trends, research findings, and best practices. The active engagement of the audience assured us that participants gained useful knowledge and practical insights from Professor Chan's presentation.

Our School will continue to foster knowledge transfer through the exchange with world-leading experts, aiming to contribute to the improvement in health for all.
